Nutrien Ag Day

38th Annual Nutrien Ag Day Barbecue

Ag Day is a tradition begun in 1981, hosted by CSU’s College of Agricultural Sciences along with Colorado agricultural organizations and associations. The pregame event features the state’s agricultural growers and producers preparing Colorado’s premier outdoor barbecue from quality Colorado food products to fund scholarships for agricultural sciences students. This tradition honors both the institution’s roots and Colorado’s rich agricultural history in a celebration that appeals to all ages.

The 2019 Nutrien Ag Day BBQ is made possible by Nutrien‘s gift in support of our Ag Day Scholarships.

The future of agriculture lies with the next generation, which is why CSU’s College of Agricultural Sciences proudly invests time, energy and resources into its long-standing relationship with our country’s youth. That includes programs around 4-H, Future Farmers of America, Ag Adventure with grade-schoolers and beyond.

This year’s Nutrien Ag Day BBQ marks a special milestone as Colorado State University celebrates its sesquicentennial. Come out in support of Colorado agriculture and celebrate 150 years of Ram pride.
