Ag Day is a tradition stemming from 1981, Hosted by CSU’s College of Agricultural Sciences agricultural organizations and associations throughout Colorado, this pre-game event is Colorado’s premier outdoor barbecue. State agricultural growers and producers prepare and sell tickets for you to enjoy quality food options. Funds raised from the BBQ go to support scholarships for agricultural science students. This tradition honors both the institution’s roots and Colorado’s rich agricultural history in a celebration that appeals to all ages.
The 2020 Nutrien Ag Day BBQ is made possible by Nutrien.
The future of agriculture lies with the next generation, which is why CSU’s College of Agricultural Sciences proudly invests time, energy and resources into its long-standing relationship with our country’s youth. That includes programs around 4-H, Future Farmers of America, Ag Adventure with grade-schoolers and beyond.
For the fifth year, Ag Day and Colorado 4-H will be celebrated together. Colorado 4-H will host an assortment of activities involving STEM and Ag Education. Colorado 4-H empowers youth to reach their full potential, working and learning in partnership with caring adults.
We invite you to partake in this fun tradition and support of Colorado agriculture and Ram pride.
